Workshops
Parenting does not come with a handbook and it is especially difficult in a constantly changing society. Emily’s workshops are designed to help guide parents on how to demystify the challenges of parenting. The focus is on understanding why children display certain behaviours and how to manage them. Parents can expect to receive concrete strategies on how to handle situations based on childhood development theory, practical application and a tailored approach for your child.
Emily has also developed workshops on how to speak with your children about mental health. In today’s society, we see a rise of mental health concerns amongst youth. It is beneficial to have tools and strategies to prepare for these conversations. Understanding the signs and symptoms of more common mental health diagnoses, such as depression and anxiety, can lead to early treatment and prevention.
